Music fans can also appreciate one of the UK's brightest live music scenes including the annual Leeds Festival. The many traditional pubs, clubs, bars and cafés continue to be among the best in Europe, and whatever your taste in food you’ll find a restaurant to match.
Of course, you can find out more about the surrounding area with a quick visit to The Hub, but very briefly, outside the city centre explore the woodlands of Temple Newsam and Roundhay Park, not to mention the scenic Yorkshire Dales just a 30 minute car journey away.

Step out of your door and onto a train in just a few minutes; walk just a little further and you can catch a bus to just about anywhere in Yorkshire and if your preferred mode of transport is the car, you’ll find the M1 and M62 less than two minutes away. Of course, if you like to take things a little easier, the towpath is right on your doorstep and perfect for a gentle stroll or cycle ride.
